I had that issue for some time and managed to fix it by restoring to a fresh DB or adding a remote mysql user which I would use for the bot. Test any of them, we will have to wait for more replies from more experienced users.

Follow the steps; nvm instal 0.12.6 nvm use 0.12.6 Then start the bot, and let us know. If you're still getting the error make sure you didn't do npm install steam after updating nodejs.

I have everything setup on a Windows Server 2012 VPS and it works cool, socket is working fine, no logon errors. But it's not all that good, I am having an issue with sending trades, the bot declines them with reason: Declined - no tradelink, offer #xxxx I don't know if this is an issue...

Do "node -v" and let us know what version are you using. After that check "npm install steam".

I'm getting errors with this one.
